Secolo Novo (2010) - Le Marchesine
In the heart of Franciacorta, the Le Marchesine winery has created a wine that tells a story of innovation and tradition: Secolo Novo. This wine came from a bold insight of the founder, Giovanni Biatta, who in the '80s decided to experiment with winemaking techniques inspired by the great French Champagnes. The choice of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, noble and versatile varieties, made it possible to create a Franciacorta DOCG that celebrates elegance and complexity. The 2010 vintage was particularly significant, as it marked the winery's twentieth anniversary, a milestone that confirmed the reputation of Le Marchesine as pioneers on the wine scene

In bottle (over 36 months)
Ageing in bottle for more than 36 months is a practice reserved for wines for long laying down, designed for those seeking depth, finesse and maximum aromatic development. During this extended period, the wine matures sheltered from light and oxygen, letting time do its work in silence. This stage is particularly important for vintage wines, riservas and great classics, which in this way reach a perfect balance between intensity, elegance and sensory complexity.
