The appellation: Vermentino di Gallura Superiore DOCG

Vermentino di Gallura Superiore DOCG is the noblest and most structured version of Vermentino di Gallura DOCG, Sardinia’s only Denominazione di Origine Controllata e Garantita. It is a white that expresses to perfection the character of Gallura, the north-eastern region of the island: a land of granite, wind and sun, which gives the wines unique minerality, freshness and aromatic intensity. The "Superiore" designation is reserved for wines that reach higher sugar levels at source (that is, already in the grape), leading to a richer, more complex wine that is also suited to medium-to-long ageing.
