Alghero DOC

TheAlghero DOC is a controlled designation of origin of the Sardinia north-western, established in 1995, which takes its name from the Catalan town of Alghero. It stands out for its great stylistic variety, with wines whites, rosés, reds and sparkling wines, produced by both indigenous and international grape varieties, suited to the breezy climate and the limestone soils of the area.

The Alghero DOC perfectly reflects the identity Mediterranean, sunny and cosmopolitan of its land, thanks also to the historic presence of Catalan culture and to a unique terroir between sea and karst plateaux.
