Sicilia Menfi DOC

The Sicilia Menfi DOC is one of the most representative appellations in Sicilian viticulture, created in 1995. It covers the south-western part of the island, in the province of Agrigento, around the municipality of Menfi, an area historically suited to growing vines.

This DOC is known for its a great variety of indigenous and international grape varieties and for wines with a character Mediterranean, sunny and savoury, able to combine tradition and innovation.

• Vineyard altitude: from sea level up to 400 m above sea level

• Soils: sandy, limestone, clay, with a strong mineral presence

• Climate: Mediterranean, warm and dry, with sea winds that keep the grapes healthy
