G.D. Vajra

G.D. Vajra is a historic winery set in the heart of the Langhe, founded in 1972 from Giovanni D. Vajra, with the aim of producing wines that express the authenticity of the area. The winery stands out for its artisan approach and its obsessive care of the vineyards, which stretch over land rich in history and tradition.

The philosophy of G.D. Vajra is based on:

  • Respect for tradition, with a keen eye on innovation

The terroir

The vineyards of G.D. Vajra lie in the Langhe, an area renowned for the beauty of its landscape and its winegrowing vocation. The climatic conditions, marked by excellent sun exposure and mineral-rich soil, favour the growing of indigenous varieties such as Nebbiolo, Barbera e Dolcetto.

A lively, fruity red, with notes of cherry and a freshness that makes it perfect alongside traditional Piedmontese dishes.
