Le Marchesine​

Le Marchesine is a historic winery of Franciacorta, founded in 1985 by the Biatta family, with winegrowing roots going back to the sixteenth century. For generations, the family has pursued an approach artisan and innovative, establishing itself as one of the benchmark estates for Franciacorta Metodo Classico.

Thanks to the use of advanced technology and an obsessive attention to quality, Le Marchesine makes refined, elegant and long-lived sparkling wines that express the Franciacorta terroir at its best.

The Le Marchesine Method

The winery's vineyards extend over mineral-rich morainic soils, ideal for growing Chardonnay, Pinot Nero and Pinot Bianco. The harvest is strictly by hand and the grapes are vinified with soft pressing to extract only the purest must.Fermentation is temperature-controlled, followed by long maturation on the lees, which can last up to 60 months, depending on the cuvée. The remuage is carried out with care to guarantee finesse and creaminess in the perlage.

A timeless classic, with notes of citrus, green apple and bread crust. A fine, persistent perlage, perfect for aperitifs and fish dishes.

Elegant, silky bubbles, with hints of white flowers, tropical fruit and vanilla. Soft and enveloping, ideal with shellfish and delicate first courses.

Franciacorta Rosé DOCG

A blend of Pinot Nero and Chardonnay, with a captivating colour and aromas of red fruit, pomegranate and spice. Excellent with cured meats and white meat dishes.

Franciacorta Extra Brut Millesimato DOCG

A sophisticated, complex cuvée, with aromas of hazelnut, toasted bread and candied citrus. A long, mineral palate, perfect for those who like bold sparkling wines.

Franciacorta Riserva Secolo Novo DOCG

The winery's flagship, aged for over 60 months on the lees. Structured and deep, with notes of honey, spice and dried fruit. A unique experience for lovers of the traditional method.
