Stefano Amerighi

Located at Cortona, in the heart of the Tuscany, the winery of Stefano Amerighi is an example of how tradition can blend with innovation. This area, famous for its soils rich in clay, gypsum and silt, is the ideal place to grow high-quality grape varieties, in particular Syrah. Amerighi has devoted years to study and research, travelling through the Rhône to learn winemaking techniques and select the best clones.

In 2002, it identified its cru at Poggiobello di Farneta, where he planted 8 hectares of vineyards at a density of 7000 vines per hectare. His approach is built on a deep respect for nature and for the land, promoting sustainable and biodynamic winegrowing. Every stage of cultivation is followed closely, respecting natural rhythms and the lunar phases.
