Terenzuola

Terenzuola is a winery located in the heart of the Colli di Luni, on the border between Liguria e Tuscany. Founded over a century ago, the estate found new momentum thanks to Ivan Giuliani, who carried forward a project to showcase the Vermentino, creating wines of great finesse and character.

The approach of Terenzuola is based on a absolute respect for the terroir, with sustainable viticulture and minimal intervention in the cellar to bring out the purity of the grapes. The result is a range of wines that are fresh, mineral and long-lived, perfect for expressing the soul of the terroir.

The Terenzuola Method

The vineyards cover soils rich in stones and clay, with ideal aspects that benefit from the sea breezes of the Ligurian Sea. The harvest is by hand and the grapes are carefully selected to guarantee only the best of the crop.Winemaking is carried out with spontaneous fermentations, with no excessive filtration or fining, and ageing in stainless steel or large wood, depending on the style of the wine. The aim is to obtain wines that express to the full the minerality and freshness of Vermentino and of the other grape varieties grown.

A vibrant, savoury white, with aromas of citrus, white flowers and Mediterranean herbs. Freshness and mineral length make it perfect for seafood dishes.

A special selection of Vermentino, more structured and complex. Notes of white peach, almond and flint, with a long, enveloping finish.

Lunigiana IGT Rosso

A blend based on Canaiolo, Ciliegiolo and Merlot, with hints of berries, black pepper and undergrowth. A soft, persistent palate.

Merla della Miniera

An intriguing red wine made from Pollera Nera, an almost forgotten native variety. Elegant, with aromas of sweet spices and ripe cherry.
